Product Design at Caura

I worked at Caura '21-'24 as a Product Designer.

Caura started as a B2C mobile app to help drivers manage all aspects of owning a vehicle (i.e., paying tax, insurance, booking maintenance and repairs, avoiding congestion charges, etc.)

Key features launched:

• Maintain: allowing you to book a slot at any garage in the UK
• Insure: the fastest insurance quote flow in the UK
• Airport Parking: pre-book a parking space at any UK airport
• City Charges: paying any Clean Air Zone in the UK
• Tolls: paying major road tolls across the UK

Our work involved partnering with many large companies, from legacy incumbents to big tech.

Each deal required on-premise meetings, whiteboard sessions, and deep understanding of the partner's current workflows and pain points.

I worked alongside the CEO & CTO to design these products 0 → 1.
